EMPLOYER SERVICES
Our graduated clients
are securing employment, entering
into training, connecting to the community
and are continuing with their education
as British Columbia business needs
dictate. In support of local business
we liaison talent to companies by
hosting in-house job fairs and by
actively marketing employees to the
employment community. Employers that
have participated with us are from
diverse industries such as agriculture,
retail, construction, technology,
hospitality, sports, and entertainment;
and all are finding our team's skill
exceptional.
As always, our staff
continues to work with, and appreciate
the labour links we have established
with our local business contacts in
our service regions. For that reason,
we feel fortunate to share a quote
from one of 2010 top employer’s
in Chilliwack, Liane of Stream Global
Services:
"Demonstrating
an incredible initiative and strong
dedication. Triangle is an important
part of our employment strategies
and we have a great working relationship
with them."
Our staff also looks
to outside resources such as the BC
Major Projects Inventory; as this
database contains provincial information
of major developments and can aide
both our clients and employers when
seeking out specific sectors and current
opportunites. For example, the following
excerpt is taken from September 2010
issue:
“This issue of the
BC Major Projects Inventory lists 33 new proposed
projects... for the third quarter of 2010, with
available capital cost estimates totaling approximately
$2.4 billion... Twenty-two major projects started
construction in the third quarter, with an estimated
value of approximately $1.5 billion. Twelve
projects completed construction in the third
quarter, with an estimated capital cost of approximately
$643 million…. The capital cost of all
major projects currently under construction
in BC is estimated at $61.7 billion, down from
$62.8 billion reported in the second quarter
of 2010. [However] the available capital cost
of proposed projects is estimated at approximately
$111.9 billion, up slightly from $111.5 billion
in the previous quarter.” Major

This type of employment
related information can help immensely,
as our clients are able to receive
Pre-Program Service, personalized
assistance and supports through knowledgable
and effective staff. Moreover, this
process has fast-tracked some of our
clientele onto employment prior to
program start. We attribute this success
to our Job Developers, Employment
Counsellors, Personal Development
Facilitators, and Program Assistants
for their ongoing collaboration, as
they continue to build authentic and
rewarding relationships in the community
and with diversified employers.
With the continued
support of our communities and the
dedication of our team, our clients
are achieving their goals for success
and building brighter futures! For
those employers reading this, we invite
you to contact
us with your hiring needs,
as we would be delighted to assist
you and can offer outstanding service.
